Terms and Conditions

You have agreed to purchase a membership at a facility that allows you to access at any time. As such, you are aware that there will be NO SUPERVISION, ASSISTANCE OR PUBLIC ACCESS TO GYM.  

You are also aware that if you are injured, become unconscious, suffer a stroke or heart attack, that there will likely be no one to respond to your emergency and this facility has no duty to provide assistance to you.  

 

We HIGHLY recommend that you work out with another member at Fit4Purpose, but it is entirely up to you. 

 

Because physical exercise can be strenuous and subject to risk of serious injury, FIT4Purpose urges you to obtain a physical examination from a doctor before using any exercise equipment or participating in any exercise activity.

You (each member, guest or participant) agree that if you engage in any physical exercise or activity, or use any Fit4Purpose amenity on the premises or off premises including a sponsored club event, you do so entirely at your own risk.

 

If you have any medical conditions as listed on the join form or anything at all that may prevent you to exercise or have any health concerns, you must provide full details on the join form & get in touch with us on 0225086794:

 

You agree to be considerate of all members and their space whilst using the gym

You agree you are the only person who accesses the gym on your membership unless agreed to otherwise,

 

You agree the access card is the property of NZ Rugby house and must be returned at end of membership. If lost replacement fee to you is $80 (This is the fee passed on from Waterford Security to cancel lost one and replace )

 

This waiver and release of liability includes, without limitation, all injuries which may occur, regardless of negligence, as a result of;


(a) your use of all amenities and equipment in the facility and your participation in any activity, class, program, personal training or instruction,
(b) the sudden and unforeseen malfunctioning of any equipment, (c) any dietary recommendations and
(d) your slipping and / falling / any incidents while in the club premises, including adjacent sidewalks and parking areas at 100 Molesworth Street Thorndon Wellington

AED / Emergency

The gym is located in the basement of NZ Rugby House and if you find yourself in an emergency there is no way to access you there. 

If you are concerned, then this gym may not be the right option for you. 

We recommend workouts during office hours with a buddy if this is a concern.

NZ Rugby House has a medical center on the ground level & an AED as listed below.

Waiver 

You acknowledge that you have carefully read this “waiver and release” and fully understand that it is a release of liability. You expressly agree to release and discharge Fit4Purpose, and all affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, successors, or assigns, from any and all claims or causes of action. You agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that you may otherwise have to bring a legal action against Fit4Purpose for negligence, personal injury or property damage.

 

Note: Should any part of this agreement be found by a court of law to be against public policy or in violation of any state statute or case precedence, then only that wording is removed and the remainder of this agreement will remain in full force.

 

Cancellation of Memberships

You must pay your fees as agreed to, to avoid penalties or debt collection, if for any reason your circumstances change, and you need to cancel you must contact us to arrange cancellation and return the card. 


Our $14.99 per week memberships have no contract and can be cancelled at any stage after 1 month on the provision the card is returned, and written notice is given advising cancellation 1 week in advance. 

 

Holds

We can hold / freeze your membership depending on circumstances and time frames, please contact us to discuss options.

Joining Fees

All memberships require $50 membership fee to process application and arrange with building security an access card to the gym and bathroom facilities. This card must be returned to the blue box inside the gym when you have notified us of canceling membership.

Please send a copy of Photo ID to info@fit4.co.nz for us to arrange your gym access card, please allow 1 - 7 working days to arrange however expected times are usually around 1 - 2 days.

 

Within 7 days you are required to start your auto payments for membership to the same account using your access card number and name as signed up as your payment reference. 

 

Membership Options 

$14.99 per week - 1 month minimum preferred 

$12.99 per week - 6 months or more commitment 

$22.00 per week - 2 for 1 membership - 3 month minimum 

$289 total - SPRING PROMO - Sign up before 1 Sep, no joining fee and membership to 1st of January 2024

Corporate rates as negotiated. 

 

* 2 for 1 Memberships 

Special rates are available for 2 for 1 membership to work out with a friend and can be arranged prior by inquiry utilizing 1 membership card for 2 people working out together at the same time. Rates are from $22 per week for 2 on 1 auto payment. Both members must complete the join form and pay 1 x joining fee. Should 1 member cancel the membership must continue at the rate applicable to existing membership.

No Contract Rates 

Our $14.99 per week memberships are flexible have no contract and can be cancelled at any stage after 1 month on the provision the card is returned, we hold cards up to 12 months should you wish to return the cost is just $10 to reinstate your card.

Written notice is to be given advising cancellation 1 week in advance.

7 days cooling off period: 

If for any reason you do not wish to commence membership within the first 7 days of sign up, please advise us to arrange returning the card and cancelling the membership, as well as your account details for a refund of the joining fee.
